General Janitorial
The foundation of everything we do. Every CityJan client gets a custom cleaning plan built specifically for their facility — not a generic checklist with your name on it. Nightly or scheduled visits cover everything from trash removal and surface wiping to restroom maintenance, break room cleaning, and floor care. Exactly what gets done, how often, and to what standard is defined in writing before we ever start — and verified on an ongoing basis.
Floor Care
Floors take more abuse than any other surface in a commercial facility, and they show it faster than anything else. CityJan handles the full range of commercial flooring types:
- VCT / Vinyl Composition Tile — stripping, waxing, buffing, and maintenance
- LVT / Luxury Vinyl Tile — cleaning and protective treatment
- Carpet — vacuuming, spotting, and periodic deep extraction
- Laminate and hardwood — appropriate cleaning and maintenance
- Concrete — sweeping, scrubbing, and sealing as needed
KyVac Touchless Restroom Sanitation
Restrooms are the highest-risk, highest-visibility area in any commercial facility. The KyVac system takes restroom cleaning to a different level — a touchless, high-pressure cleaning and sanitizing process that gets into the places a mop and spray bottle can’t reach. The result is a restroom that isn’t just clean to the eye — it’s clean in the way that actually matters for your occupants’ health and your facility’s reputation.
Victory Electrostatic Sprayer
The Victory electrostatic sprayer applies a fine, even coat of EPA-approved disinfectant across surfaces — including touch points that traditional cleaning methods tend to miss: door handles, elevator buttons, light switches, shared equipment, locker rooms, and more. Originally deployed during COVID, this technology is now part of CityJan’s standard toolkit for clients who want an additional layer of protection during flu season or periods of heightened concern.
Window Cleaning
First impressions start at the front door — and nothing undermines a clean building faster than streaked or smudged glass. CityJan handles interior and exterior window cleaning for commercial properties, keeping your entry points, lobbies, and common areas looking sharp.
Specialty Services
Some needs don’t fit a regular schedule. For those, CityJan offers a range of specialty services that go beyond the recurring scope.
Day Portering
For larger facilities that can’t wait until the end of the day, a day porter keeps things running in real time. Think of it as a dedicated daytime presence — monitoring restrooms through peak hours, keeping break rooms and common areas in order, handling spills and messes as they happen. It’s the difference between a facility that looks good at 8am and one that still looks good at 3pm.
Deep Cleaning
Periodic deep cleans go beyond the regular scope to address the things that accumulate over time — grout lines, vents, high surfaces, behind and beneath equipment. Ideal for facilities coming up on a major inspection, a tenant changeover, or simply due for a reset.
Post-Construction Cleanup
Construction and renovation leave behind a specific kind of mess — dust in every corner, debris on every surface, residue on windows and floors. CityJan’s post-construction cleanup gets your space from job site to move-in ready, efficiently and thoroughly.
Event Cleanup
Before or after a large event, your facility needs attention that goes beyond the standard cleaning schedule. CityJan handles pre-event prep and post-event cleanup so you can focus on the event itself and hand the space back in the condition it was found.
Eco-Friendly Cleaning
We know that for some facilities and some clients, the chemicals used in the cleaning process matter. CityJan offers eco-friendly, environmentally responsible cleaning products upon request — just let us know when we talk, and we’ll build that into your plan from day one.
